Inspired by a psychological experiment, the director creates a character trapped in a room full of objects. She has to interact with all the objects to escape. Discovering a painting of her friend, not only made her remember the past, but the viewer can connect more to the character. Painting over it is her way of expressing her guilt, trying to erase her mistakes and create a beautiful memory out of a bad one. Full of guilt, she frees herself from the room that represents her mind and subconscious. The ending is a bit unclear, but the director wanted to let the viewer interpret what the room truly is and why is she there. Reunited with her lost friend, she becomes a painting herself.
