Tudor Eliad not only gives himself permission to pull a probably real situation (the fish shortage in the grocery stores of those days) in all sorts of parodical directions, one more idiotic and absurd than the other, but in less than 10 minutes this whole journey passes through a variety of genres and it constantly alludes to cult films of the era.
