During World War II, a group of young men captured a German soldier on the roof of the building he was defending and where they most likely lived. One of them spends a longer time in the same room with the man, guarding him under the threat of a rifle. The relationship sparked between them, despite the language barrier, is abruptly interrupted by the action of another rifle, from outside the room.
